Types of Membership

Attorney Membership is available to members in good standing who live in or practice in the Southern District of New York.

Non-Attorney Membership is available to all legal educators, paralegals, legal assistants, law-office administrators, law librarians, banking professionals, financial and other consultants, and other interested individuals.

Government Membership is available to an educational institution that provides a degree program or continuing education classes in law, banking, or finances; A non-profit organization whose mission affects or is affected by law, banking, or finances; A state, local or federal government employee of the legal sector.

Renew Your Membership To join the Hudson Valley Bankruptcy Bar Association, first select a membership category:
Attorney Membership
Set fee of $50.00 per calendar year. Attorney Membership is available if you are a lawyer admitted to practice in the Southern District of New York. Join and pay by mail, download a printable form.
Non-Attorney Membership
Set fee of $25.00 per calendar year. Non-Attorney Membership is available to legal educators, paralegals, legal assistants, law-office administrators, law librarians, banking professionals, financial and other consultants, and other interested individuals. Join and pay by mail, download a printable form.
Government Membership
Call for approval or more information. Government Membership is available to an educational institution that provides a degree program or continuing education classes in law, banking, or finances; A non-profit organization whose mission affects or is affected by law, banking, or finances; A state, local or federal government employee of the legal sector.

Membership Renewal

HVBBA is on a July 1st fiscal year. Please renew your dues each year by June 30th to maximize your membership benefits and to attend HVBBA functions at the membership rate.

Note: HVBBA memberships are non-transferable.
